CRIME, THRILLER WITH SUPERNATURAL ELEMENTS, AND BLACK COMEDY
One of the original features of the series is its narrative, in which there is room for the supernatural, the unexplainable. The voices of the dead prostitutes constitute the common thread of the story, as does their occasional presence among the living (sometimes appearing ghostly, other times almost real). The tone combines irony and drama with tints of black comedy.
Content Creation:
We have been creating content for more than 20 years, from original ideas to adaptations from literary works or from real facts, both historical and contemporary.
Our process starts with the creation of the concept, including genre, tone and point of view for the story we are undertaking.
Our legal department elaborates a report in the case of adaptation of contemporary socio-political stories, real facts or biopics. It also takes care of the options on books if the adaptation is a literary one
The process continues with the recruitment of researchers (more particularly in the case of historical, contemporary, or real facts adaptations) that work with the writer/s in the first stages.
For television series, a pitch deck is elaborated by the writer together with our designers, including synopsis, characters (sometimes with suggestions for casting) and season’s arc, episode by episode. The pilot episode is often written and delivered together with the pitch deck. We usually do not elaborate a bible, our decks are concise but efficient enough.
A treatment is written in the case of feature films.
Alongside the pitch-deck or treatment, a one-pager is also elaborated for presentation at fairs, festivals, or markets.
The writing of the pilot and subsequent episodes, or the screenplay in the case of films, follows. Here ends the “content creation”, or development, phase.
